The summer festival of music and culture at the Castello di Rampinzeri in Santa Ninfa
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Sikano Fest is the main cultural festival of Santa Ninfa, a town in the province of Trapani located in the heart of the Belìce Valley, in Sicily. Established towards the end of the 2010s and reaching its eighth edition in 2025, the festival is promoted by the Municipality of Santa Ninfa with the support of the Belìce Museum and Nature Network and the Grotta di Santa Ninfa Nature Reserve, and has established itself as the town's most anticipated summer event.
The strength of Sikano Fest lies in its cross-disciplinary nature: over several evenings in August, concerts, literary presentations, theatrical performances, film screenings, meetings with cultural and entertainment figures, Sicilian popular storytelling, and astronomical observations alternate. The festival naturally combines great singer-songwriter music with the rediscovery of the territory's cultural roots, in a continuous dialogue between performance and local identity.
The events take place in two iconic settings of Santa Ninfa. The Castello di Rampinzeri, with its internal courtyard, is the most evocative heart of the event and hosts the closing evenings, featuring music, stories, sky-watching, and wine tastings from the local Cantina Sociale. Piazza Libertà, in the town center, hosts the most popular concerts, capable of attracting a large audience from across the Belìce Valley.
Every edition of Sikano Fest is built around a common thread. The fifth edition, in 2022, revolved around the theme "Mending and stitching: from scars, beauty", while the 2025 edition was dedicated to the centenary of the birth of Andrea Camilleri, with quotes, anecdotes, and memories of the great Sicilian writer scattered throughout the program.
Sikano Fest is not just a music festival: nature excursions in the Grotta di Santa Ninfa Reserve, astronomical observations curated by local associations, and moments dedicated to popular storytelling make it a complete cultural experience. It is an opportunity to discover the Belìce Valley, its natural heritage, and its identity, far from the main tourist circuits and immersed in the authenticity of inland Sicily.
The 2026 edition of Sikano Fest has not yet been officially presented. Following the trend of previous editions, the festival is expected to take place in the month of August in Santa Ninfa, in the province of Trapani, with the usual multidisciplinary program featuring concerts, literary meetings, theater, and astronomical observations at the Castello di Rampinzeri and in Piazza Libertà. The precise dates, artists, and theme of the 2026 edition will be announced by the Municipality of Santa Ninfa.
Santa Ninfa is located in the province of Trapani, in the Belìce Valley. By car, it can be reached from the A29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo motorway, taking the Salemi-Gibellina exit and then continuing towards Santa Ninfa. The Castello di Rampinzeri is located in the open countryside, a few kilometers from the town center.
The events take place mainly at the Castello di Rampinzeri and in Piazza Libertà, in the center of Santa Ninfa.
The festival is organized by the Municipality of Santa Ninfa, which publishes the program and access methods on its official channels. Events are generally free to attend. For evenings at the Castello di Rampinzeri, it is advisable to check times and reservations in advance.
