Settenovecento OFF is a widespread festival that complements the main Settenovecento festival in Rovereto, taking chamber music out of traditional concert halls and into the courtyards, gardens, and sanctuaries of the Vallagarina villages, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. The Municipality of Isera, a small wine-producing town overlooking the Adige valley in the province of Trento, hosts the stage that kicks off the entire circuit.

The venue is the Courtyard of Palazzo Fedrigotti Belmonte, a historic building that houses the Isera Town Hall: an intimate, open-air space that becomes a natural stage for an evening concert under the stars. The Settenovecento OFF format is precise and generous: the stage features chamber music ensembles from the Conservatories of Trento, Riva del Garda, and Verona, offering young musicians a real opportunity for public performance and providing the local area with a high-quality cultural experience at affordable prices.
Music and the Vallagarina landscape
Each stage of the festival is tied to a thematic title that accompanies the program: in Isera, the concert is dedicated to a specific moment in music history, with pieces for strings and piano performed outdoors. The audience is immersed in an experience that combines listening, historic architecture, and the landscape of the Marzemino vineyards, the signature grape variety of Isera.
A circuit across six villages
The Isera stage is the first of a journey that touches six locations in the Vallagarina — Isera, Volano, Brentonico, Calliano, Villa Lagarina, and Trambileno — between early and mid-September. Gardens, courtyards, and sanctuaries are transformed into open-air concert halls, in a continuous dialogue between music and cultural heritage.

Settenovecento OFF Isera — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Settenovecento OFF kicks off right here in Isera: Friday, September 5, 2026, at 8:30 PM, in the Courtyard of Palazzo Fedrigotti Belmonte (Town Hall), featuring 'The Year Was 1878', the opening concert of the circuit.
From here, the festival continues through the villages of the Vallagarina until September 14: 'Light in the Darkness' in Volano (September 6), 'Alegría!' in Brentonico (September 7), 'The Dawn. From Haydn to the Great Cinema' in Calliano (September 12), 'Wedding Day' in Villa Lagarina (September 13), and the 'Musical Visit to the Sanctuary of La Salette' in Trambileno (September 14).
Admission is at an affordable price: €5 full price and €3 reduced for residents of the host municipality.

Getting there
Isera can be reached by car from the Rovereto Sud exit of the A22 Brenner motorway, just a few minutes from the center. By train, the reference station is Rovereto (Verona–Brenner line), connected to Isera by short bus or taxi rides.
