Concerts in nature on the Brentonico plateau, in the Monte Baldo Park
Musica Natura Relazioni is the summer concert series promoted by the Monte Baldo Local Nature Park, bringing together the five municipalities of the district—Ala, Avio, Brentonico, Mori, and Nago-Torbole—in a single program spread across the Vallagarina valley and the Trentino side of Lake Garda. The project was born from the idea of bringing live music to the Park's most evocative locations: alpine dairies, mountain churches, huts, forests, and historic theaters become natural stages where listening and landscape merge. The organization is managed by the Superflùo association, under the artistic direction of Giovanni Costantini.
In the municipality of Brentonico, in the province of Trento, the festival finds some of its most iconic venues. Concerts are held along the village streets, with roving choirs animating the historic center, at the Rifugio Baita Fos-Ce above the hamlet of San Valentino, and in the historic Teatro Monte Baldo, which traditionally hosts the final concert of the Palestra d'Orchestra. Many high-altitude events are preceded or accompanied by a walk, leading the audience to the concert site along the plateau's trails, in an experience that combines hiking, listening, and environmental discovery.
The program ranges from classical music to jazz, from European folk to popular sounds, featuring chamber ensembles, choirs, duos, and bands. A special role is played by the Palestra d'Orchestra, an orchestral workshop that brings together teachers and young musicians from across Italy, closing the festival with its final concerts hosted at the Teatro Monte Baldo in Brentonico. The common thread remains the relationship between sound, nature, and community: hence the festival's title, which weaves together music, environment, and human connections.
Musica Natura Relazioni is more than just a concert season: it is a cultural project that highlights the Monte Baldo Local Nature Park and its municipalities, promoting slow, environmentally conscious tourism. The events, often free or low-cost, are designed for families and involve residents, local associations, and visitors. For paid events and walks, booking is recommended, with discounts available for those under 25, residents of the Park's municipalities, and SAT members, while admission is free for children up to 12 years old.
Situated on a vast plateau overlooking the Vallagarina valley and Lake Garda, Brentonico is the main Trentino hub on the northern slopes of Monte Baldo. Its hamlets, pastures, mountain huts, and the Val di Gresta make it an ideal destination for those seeking nature, hiking, and culture. Hosting part of the festival here means combining the Park's environmental heritage with the village's cultural vitality, offering visitors a chance to discover an authentic corner of the Trentino-Alto Adige region.
The 2026 edition of the festival runs from July 18 to August 30 with ten events across the five municipalities of the Monte Baldo Local Nature Park. In the Brentonico area, three concerts are scheduled. On July 18, through the village streets, the Choral Trekking Choir presents «In canto dal monte», a roving concert featuring traditional and folk melodies from the 16th century to the present day. On July 24, at dusk, at the Rifugio Baita Fos-Ce above San Valentino, the Tactus Duo — Francesco Facca on saxophone and Michele Metz on percussion — presents «Song Book», with the sunset over the mountain meadow. On August 29, at the Teatro Monte Baldo, the festival concludes with the concerts of the Palestra d'Orchestra, a youth string ensemble conducted by Giovanni Costantini, in «Sogno di fine estate», featuring music by Purcell, Holst, and Mozart.
The roving concert on July 18 is free of charge. Paid events have a ticket price of 8 euros, reduced to 5 euros for those under 25, residents of the Park's municipalities, and SAT members; admission is free for children up to 12 years old. Booking is recommended on the festival's official website.

Events at the Rifugio Baita Fos-Ce and in the high-altitude hamlets are reached via mountain roads; some events include a guided walk to the concert site.
