The Lagarina Jazz Festival is a benchmark event for jazz in Trentino-Alto Adige. Isera, an exceptional stop
In Isera, concerts find a home in some of the town's most evocative spots. Palazzo de Probizer, with its Noble Hall, hosts the most intimate listening sessions; the Belvedere welcomes more festive ensembles in the late afternoon; and the Town Hall closes the evenings with night concerts. The Isera program alternates established masters of Italian and European jazz with young, experimental groups, offering a range that spans from classic jazz and dixieland to contemporary and research-oriented sounds.
A festival spread across the territory
Lagarina Jazz is not tied to a single stage: the festival is itinerant and involves, in addition to Isera, neighboring municipalities such as Villa Lagarina, Volano, Nogaredo, and Calliano. This widespread formula enhances the entire Vallagarina territory and intertwines music with local excellence, from historic palaces to distilleries and wineries, where some concerts are accompanied by tastings.

Lagarina Jazz Festival 2026 — 20th Anniversary
From August 18 to 24, 2026, the Lagarina Jazz Festival celebrates its twentieth edition, spread across the municipalities of the Vallagarina valley (Isera, Villa Lagarina, Volano, Nogaredo, and Calliano), as part of the TrentinoInJazz circuit.
Stops in Isera
On August 18, at 6:00 PM, Palazzo de Probizer (Noble Hall) hosts the concert "On the tracks of solidarity. In memory of Paola Dorigotti," with Gianluigi Trovesi (sax and clarinet) and Umberto Petrin (piano), a meeting between two great voices of Italian jazz (admission by mandatory reservation).
On August 23, a double event: at 6:00 PM at the Belvedere, the overwhelming Tiger Dixie Band (free admission) and at 9:00 PM at the Town Hall, the group Mologiudecca (ticket 10 euros).

Getting there
Isera is located in the Vallagarina valley, just a few kilometers from Rovereto. By car, it can be reached via the A22 Brennero motorway (Rovereto Sud exit), continuing towards Isera. By train, the reference station is Rovereto, on the Verona-Brennero line, from where you can continue by bus or taxi.
