The summer festival of open-air performances in the seaside village of Campobello di Mazara
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Sere d'Estate in Tre Fontane is the festival of performances that lights up the evenings of the seaside village of Campobello di Mazara, in the province of Trapani, throughout August. Promoted by the municipal administration in collaboration with local associations and Pro Loco, the event offers a dozen free appointments ranging from live music to cabaret, and from dialect theater to dance, transforming the small seaside town into an open-air stage.
The heart of the festival is Piazza Favoroso, the main square of Tre Fontane, where concerts, comedy nights, and musical parties take place. Some of the most evocative events are held at the Cave di Cusa, the ancient stone quarry from which the column drums for the temples of Selinunte were extracted: an archaeological site that, under the August stars, becomes a unique setting for live music.
The strength of Sere d'Estate lies in its variety: it ranges from local rock bands to tributes to the great names of Italian music, and from dialect comedies to family entertainment. Over the years, the festival has also hosted the Tre Fontane Summer Fest, three mid-August evenings dedicated to music and comedy. It is a program designed to accompany the holidays of those who choose this stretch of the Trapani coastline, between sandy beaches and sunsets over the Strait of Sicily.
More than just a calendar of events, Sere d'Estate is a defining appointment for the community of Campobello di Mazara and for the many vacationers who flock to Tre Fontane in August. Admission to the shows is free, and the initiative, supported by local entities such as the Free Municipal Consortium of Trapani and the local GAL, promotes the village as a tourist and cultural destination in Western Sicily.
The dates and program for the 2026 edition of Sere d'Estate in Tre Fontane have not yet been announced. The festival traditionally takes place in the month of August at Piazza Favoroso and the Cave di Cusa, in Campobello di Mazara. The detailed schedule, including concerts, tributes, and shows, is usually made public by the municipal administration in the weeks preceding the event. This page will be updated as soon as official information is published.
