Sicily's traveling boat show, blending the sea, innovation, and the blue economy
Seacily – Sicily Boat Show is one of the most important events dedicated to recreational boating in Southern Italy. It is a traveling show: every year it changes location, visiting different ports on the island after having stopped in places like Balestrate, Capo d'Orlando, and, in 2026, Castellammare del Golfo, in the heart of the Trapani province, Sicily. The format combines boat exhibitions with a packed schedule of conferences and activities, aiming to promote nautical tourism and the maritime economy in the Mediterranean.
The event is set against the backdrop of the port of Castellammare del Golfo, one of the most picturesque harbors on the northwestern Sicilian coast, dominated by an Arab-Norman castle and overlooking the gulf that gives the town its name. The land-based areas and water berths host sailing and motor boats, accessories, services, and coastal tourism proposals, turning the docks into an open-air showcase of the Sicilian nautical sector.
The show features dozens of vessels and numerous exhibition stands from industry brands and companies: shipyards, accessories, services for boaters, and tourism operators. One of the most appreciated features is the opportunity to conduct sea trials and navigation simulations, an added value made possible by the fact that the event takes place directly within the port area, in close contact with the water.
Alongside the exhibition, Seacily offers a calendar of conferences and round tables on topics such as the maritime economy, nautical tourism, environmental sustainability, and the future of marine energy. The meetings involve institutions, professionals, and operators, with the presentation of reports and studies dedicated to the nautical sector and the blue economy in Sicily. The sporting dimension is also present, with events such as the sailing regatta organized in collaboration with local entities.
The event is organized by the Rete Nautica del Mediterraneo on behalf of Assonautica Provinciale di Palermo, which holds the brand. Seacily aims to act as a platform to position Sicily as a prominent nautical destination in the Mediterranean, networking the island's ports, businesses, and territories.
For 2026, Seacily – Sicily Boat Show arrives at the port of Castellammare del Golfo, in the province of Trapani, from October 29 to November 1, 2026. The ninth edition, under the theme "The sea calls, Sicily answers", will feature boats on display, industry exhibitor stands, sea trials, conferences on the maritime economy, and initiatives dedicated to nautical tourism, the environment, and Made in Italy.
Admission is free with online registration; the event is scheduled to run approximately from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The detailed program, the list of exhibitors, and side events will be announced in the months preceding the event: for updates, please refer to the official website saloneseacily.it.
