Three days of music, beer, and food in the historic center of Caselle Torinese
The SBAF — Street Beer Alpin Fest has become one of the most anticipated summer events in Caselle Torinese, located in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont. Launched in 2023 by the Caselle Torinese Alpini Group (A.N.A. Turin section), the event quickly won over the public with its simple and winning formula: Beer, Music & Food. For an entire weekend, the historic center turns into a sprawling stage where live music, beer, and street food meet in a festive atmosphere.
The heart of SBAF is its network of six stages spread across the streets and squares of the center: Via Carlo Cravero, Piazza Boschiassi, Piazza dell'Emigrante, the Unicredit Area, Piazza Europa, and the Prato Fiera Stage, which serves as the main venue. The stages perform simultaneously, allowing the public to move freely from one concert to another, choosing their favorite genre as they go. It is a format that makes the entire city traversable to the rhythm of music.
The programming is deliberately eclectic and designed for all ages. It ranges from blues to jazz, rock to funk, 60s Italian beat to evergreen Italian hits, and even traditional Alpine and Occitan music that recalls the roots of the territory and the Alpine spirit of the organizers. There is no shortage of vocal harmonies and more sophisticated projects, creating a mosaic of offerings that spans genres and generations.
Alongside the concerts, SBAF focuses on conviviality: food stalls offer a rich array of flavors, while beer flows at the refreshment points set up along the route. Every year, the event involves numerous local associations—Pro Loco, LACA, and other local entities—with the support of the Caselle Torinese municipal administration, confirming its deeply communal character.
Admission to all SBAF concerts is free and open to the public. It is a festival designed for families, young people, and music lovers, capable of attracting hundreds of visitors every year not only from Caselle but from the entire Turin metropolitan area. It is the perfect occasion to discover a lively corner of Piedmont, amidst Alpini, street music, and the genuine hospitality of a community in celebration.
The 2026 edition of SBAF confirms the formula that led to the event's success: three days of free live music in the historic center of Caselle Torinese, with 20 musical acts performing on 6 simultaneous stages. It kicks off on Friday, June 26th at 8:30 PM and concludes on Sunday, June 28th with the final concert on the Prato Fiera Stage. The lineup embraces blues, rock, pop-rock, funk, jazz, 60s Italian beat, evergreen hits, and traditional Alpine and Occitan music, catering to audiences of all ages. Alongside the concerts, the Fuori-SBAF side event offers stalls, a market, street food, and games for children.
