SAVmmer – Urban Summer

A new concept for an urban festival in Savigliano

SAVmmer – Urban Summer launched in 2026 as a fresh summer offering for Savigliano, a city in the Cuneo province, in the heart of Piedmont. Organized by the Sav Ets Aps association with the patronage of the Municipality of Savigliano, the event draws inspiration from past city celebrations like Urban Beach and the Sunset Festival, while adopting a more widespread and inclusive approach. Instead of focusing on a single stage, SAVmmer distributes music and entertainment throughout the streets and squares of the historic center, turning them into a walkable, immersive experience.

Two Saturdays of sprawling music

The 2026 edition takes place over two nights, Saturday, June 13th, and Saturday, June 20th. Every square and street becomes a small stage with its own musical identity, allowing the public to move freely from one performance to the next. The soundscape ranges from rock to jazz, singer-songwriter sets to hip hop, alternating live concerts and DJ sets until late at night.

• Piazza Cesare Battisti: a concert by Tito Sherpa feat. DJ Kotto, accompanied by visuals from Iban il Terribile.
• Via Sant'Andrea: the IFeelLikeFeel project, featuring Ale Barrone and Guelfi.
• Piazza Santarosa: the hub for DJ sets, with Ekinissima during the aperitivo hour and, from 8:30 PM to midnight, Reghe'n'Rolla and Edgar Gallan.
• Corso Roma: the space for Magister Jam.
• Via Alfieri: the area dedicated to children, with entertainment, games, face painting, and activities.

Sprawling art and local culture

Beyond the music, SAVmmer features a pop-up art exhibition with works by artist Gianmario Vigna, displayed inside participating venues. A total of sixteen local businesses are involved in the city center, thanks to the collaboration of the Diagonal association for the art spaces. The initiative weaves together music, art, and local commerce, enhancing the urban fabric of Savigliano and highlighting local artists, musicians, DJs, associations, and collectives.

An event for the city

Free and open to everyone, SAVmmer – Urban Summer is aimed at both locals and visitors looking to discover the historic center in an unusual, lively, and festive setting. It is an opportunity to reclaim the squares on summer evenings, between a concert and an aperitivo, and to experience Savigliano as a large, shared space for music and social connection.
