The San Vigilio Summer Party is the festival that brings Stenico to life at the end of June. Located in the historic Giudicarie Esteriori area in the province of Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige, the event is organized by the Pro Loco Stenico in partnership with the local Alpini Group. It celebrates San Vigilio, the patron saint of the city and the entire Trentino diocese, whose feast day falls on June 26th. Around this date, the community gathers for two days of celebration to mark the start of summer.

Sport, music, and community

The heart of the festival is the Stenico sports field, which transforms into the village's main meeting point for the entire weekend. The program balances sports, religious moments, and social gatherings, typical of mountain patronal festivals. Saturday is dedicated to outdoor tournaments, with activities for both adults and children, while the evening continues with music.

The San Vigilio Summer Party is part of the Pro Loco Stenico's summer calendar and is one of the most cherished events for the local community. In recent years, the festival has become a key opportunity for local families and visitors to meet, combining a sporting spirit with the traditional dimension of a patronal feast. Bar service, sandwiches, and fries are provided by volunteers throughout the event.

Situated at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites and overlooking the Terme di Comano, Stenico is famous for its castle, one of the oldest and most important in Trentino.
