San Lazzaro Food & Beer Fest

Three days of taste on the outskirts of Bologna

The San Lazzaro Food & Beer Fest is one of the most anticipated spring events in San Lazzaro di Savena, a municipality in the Bologna hinterland in Emilia-Romagna. Organized by the Beer Brothers On The Road group, active since 2014, the festival brings a proven formula to the green spaces of Parco della Resistenza (via Bellaria 5) that combines quality street food, craft beer, and entertainment for all ages.

Street food from all over Italy

The heart of the event is the gastronomic offering: a journey through the flavors of the peninsula with Apulian 'bombette', Abruzzese 'arrosticini', hamburgers and American barbecue, gourmet skewers, Sardinian specialties like 'fregola' and stuffed 'pane carasau', and even incursions into Colombian cuisine. A choice designed to please all palates, in an informal and convivial atmosphere.

The craft beer of the Beer Brothers

Alongside the food, the absolute star is beer: the Beer Brothers On The Road curate a selection of craft and traditional beers served on tap, with about ten taps dedicated to national and international labels. An opportunity to discover different styles and pair them with street food dishes.

Music, crafts, and families

The schedule alternates live music and DJ sets with activities for children: puppet theater, magic shows, face painting, clowns, wooden games, and an area dedicated to children managed by BimboTu Onlus, a long-standing partner of the event. The creative artisan market completes the picture. The event takes place under the patronage of the Municipality of San Lazzaro di Savena, and admission, like all activities, is completely free.
