The festival of sustainable mobility at the Imola Circuit
There's something surprising about seeing the temple of speed in the Motor Valley open up to the mobility of the future. Imola Green was born precisely from this idea: to bring an event entirely dedicated to sustainable mobility, environmental education, and respect for the territory inside the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, in the Metropolitan City of Bologna. For a few days, the famous track doesn't host the roar of combustion engines, but the silence of electric cars and motorcycles, the pedaling of cyclists, and the voices of conferences on energy transition.
The heart of Imola Green is its accessibility: entry is free, and the activities are designed for a very wide audience, from children to professionals, from families to businesses. You can personally try out the new generation electric vehicles on the track and in the paddock thanks to test drives of zero-emission cars and motorcycles, experience micromobility and bicycles, and follow the many initiatives dedicated to safe driving and reducing environmental impact.
Promoted by Formula Imola together with the Municipality of Imola, the event is usually part of the European Mobility Week calendar and dialogues with the territory's innovation projects, such as the PitLab laboratory hosted at the circuit and collaborations with universities and research centers. Imola Green is therefore much more than a simple event: it is how Imola and the entire Emilia-Romagna region tell their vision of a cleaner future, starting from the symbolic place of passion for engines.
The 2026 edition of Imola Green is confirmed for September 26 and 27, 2026 at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, on the occasion of European Mobility Week, this year dedicated to sharing public space. The event confirms its vocation: a weekend entirely dedicated to sustainable mobility, environmental education, and respect for the territory.
Based on previous editions, the program usually includes test drives of electric cars and motorcycles on the track and in the paddock, the Imola Bike Day with open rides on the circuit, conferences and talks on energy and smart mobility, areas for children, street food, and live music. Entry is free.
The detailed 2026 program, with schedules and guests, will be announced by the organization in the weeks preceding the event.
