The Revello Band's musical highlight, featuring great hits and young talent
The Revello Musical Band Spring Concert is one of the most beloved events in the cultural calendar of the Municipality of Revello, in the province of Cuneo, in the heart of the Piedmontese Saluzzo area. Every year, at the start of spring, the town's historic band performs at the Revello Bocciodromo in a live music evening open to the entire public, with free admission.
Now in its twenty-second edition, the concert has become a classic of Revello's musical life. The Revello Musical Band, composed of about thirty members and conducted by maestro Maurizio Caldera, offers a different program each year, ranging from traditional band repertoire to film soundtracks and great Italian and international pop hits.
The Spring Concert is designed as a shared celebration: a sonic journey through different genres and eras, from the dance and pop hits of past decades to well-known melodies, all with arrangements tailored for a concert band. The evening focuses not only on the music but also on the sense of community, with the local audience filling the Bocciodromo every year.
In recent years, the concert has taken on an even more special meaning thanks to the musical training projects launched by the band. Young students, who have grown through courses dedicated to wind instruments, have the opportunity to make their debut during the Spring Concert, performing alongside more experienced musicians and continuing a musical tradition deeply rooted in the area.
Set in the picturesque context of the Marquisate of Saluzzo, at the foot of Monviso, the Municipality of Revello preserves a historical and cultural heritage of great value. For decades, the Musical Band has been a reference point for local community life, accompanying the town's civil and religious celebrations. The Spring Concert is its most complete showcase, an opportunity to rediscover the bond between music, community, and the identity of the Cuneo area in Piedmont.
The twenty-second edition of the Spring Concert filled the Revello Bocciodromo on Saturday, April 11, 2026, starting at 9:00 PM. The Revello Musical Band, conducted by maestro Maurizio Caldera, presented a program dedicated to the great hits of dance and pop music, with special attention to the 70s and early 80s.
The setlist included famous tracks such as those by Queen, timeless soundtracks including "Staying Alive" from Saturday Night Fever and themes from Dirty Dancing, dance classics, and songs by Mia Martini and Ricchi e Poveri.
The special guest of the evening was the singer Lorenza Giusiano, a local professional, backing vocalist, and singing teacher. Making the 2026 edition even more significant was the public debut of the eleven young students who had begun their training path with the band in January 2025.
The concert is held at the Bocciodromo of Revello (CN), generally on a spring Saturday evening, starting at 9:00 PM.
Admission is free.
