The festival's signature dish is the tordello, the traditional stuffed pasta of the Versilia and Lucca area, considered by many to be the finest in all of Versilia. Served strictly with meat sauce, it is prepared according to a homemade recipe passed down through generations in the village. How to get there
Retignano is a village in the Municipality of Stazzema (LU), in the Apuan Alps. By car, it can be reached from the A12 Versilia motorway exit, heading inland towards Stazzema/Retignano; from the Versilia coast (Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta), it is about a 20-30 minute drive along a scenic mountain road.
