The Renzo Trovò Football Tournament is a historic fixture in the youth football calendar of the Grosseto province. The event is reserved for youth sector categories, specifically Under 12 and Under 13 (known as Esordienti). The pitches of Campagnatico host teams representing the excellence of the Tuscan youth system: participants have included clubs such as Grosseto, Argentario, Venturina, Sporting Cecina, Invictasauro, Atletico Piombino, Porto Azzurro, Badesse Monteriggioni, and many others. Individual awards are presented in each category for the best goalkeeper, best player, and top scorer.

During the tournament, the Mario Galli Sports Centre becomes a meeting point for the entire Campagnatico community: a food stall is open for refreshments between matches, and the evenings are enlivened by live music and DJ sets.
