Fuochi a Mare: the magic of pyrotechnics on the Maremma coast

Fuochi a Mare is one of the most beloved events of the summer in Castiglione della Pescaia, a pearl of the Maremma in the Province of Grosseto, Tuscany. It is a series of fireworks displays launched directly from the sea: the fireworks ignite at the mouth of the harbor and in front of the beaches, creating light shows that reflect on the water and can be admired comfortably from the seafront, the piers, and the terraces of the village.

Four events between Castiglione and Punta Ala

For the 2026 edition, the Municipality of Castiglione della Pescaia has included Fuochi a Mare among the major events of the official calendar, with four fireworks displays spread between the main town and the hamlet of Punta Ala. It is a proven formula that connects the two tourist hearts of the territory: the medieval village perched on the hill of Castiglione, with its harbor and the Ponente seafront, and the elegant resort of Punta Ala, overlooking the Tuscan Archipelago.

The shows are held in the evening, late at night, when the darkness on the horizon allows the colors of the pyrotechnics to express themselves to the fullest. It is a perfect opportunity to end a day at the beach with a stroll along the promenade, eyes fixed on the water.
