REbuild – Sustainable Innovation in Construction

A national laboratory for the future of construction

REbuild is the premier Italian event dedicated to sustainable innovation in the construction and living sectors. Established in 2014, it takes place every May in Riva del Garda, in the Trentino region, and has become a key observatory for the transformations shaping the building, real estate, and housing policy industries. The event is organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi at the modern Congress Centre overlooking Lake Garda.

A format blending conference and trade fair

REbuild is more than a traditional trade fair: it is a knowledge ecosystem that weaves together plenary sessions, thematic panels, participatory workshops, corporate side events, and hundreds of B2B meetings. Each edition brings together construction firms, design studios, real estate developers, cooperatives, public bodies, universities, and research centers to discuss the environmental, social, and economic sustainability of the built environment. Over 80 international speakers take the stage to address topics such as deep retrofitting, off-site industrialization, process digitalization, AI in design, the circular economy, and new green-oriented financing models.

The 2026 edition: Housing Remix

The twelfth edition, titled Housing Remix. New solutions for living, placed housing back at the heart of the European agenda, interpreting it as an infrastructure for collective well-being and a driver of sustainable development. The program was structured around five thematic pillars — Policies, Capital, Rules, Building, Living — addressing the housing emergency, the European housing plan, urban regeneration, student housing, senior living, and intergenerational cohousing models.

Riva del Garda and the Trentino-Alto Adige region

The choice of Riva del Garda, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige, is no coincidence: the Garda Trentino area has earned GSTC certification as a sustainable tourist destination, perfectly aligning with the spirit of an event that makes sustainability its compass. Every May, the Municipality of Riva del Garda welcomes professionals and decision-makers from across Italy and abroad, combining the scenic beauty of the lake with the professional facilities of its Congress Centre.
