Primo Maggio Fest — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Primo Maggio Fest took place on Friday, May 1, 2026, in Piazza Favoroso, on the seafront of Tre Fontane, in Campobello di Mazara. A completely free day that transformed the seaside hamlet into a large open-air stage, alternating musical entertainment with moments of reflection on the value of work alongside the CGIL, CISL, and UIL trade unions.
The highlight of the day was the concert by singer-songwriter Povia, accompanied by specially choreographed performances, followed by the energy of local bands and the grand dance finale. The hosting and institutional moments, including the presentation of plaques to trade unions, provided the framework for a festival designed for the entire community of the Trapani area.
Programme Primo Maggio Fest 2026
Friday, May 1, 2026 — Piazza Favoroso, Tre Fontane
- 4:00 PM — Opening of the festival with folk songs, dances, and the National Anthem
- 5:00 PM — Concert by Povia, featuring his greatest hits and choreography by Silvio Alagna
- 7:00 PM — Performance by the Sud Street Band
- 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM — Grand finale with the Radio Time 90 format: 90s dance hits and choreography to dance under the stars
Hosted by Vittoria Adriana Abbenante. Throughout the day, there were speeches by representatives of CGIL, CISL, and UIL, and the presentation of plaques to the trade unions.

Location

How to get there
By car: take the Campobello di Mazara exit from the A29 dir Mazara del Vallo, then follow local roads toward Tre Fontane. By train: Campobello di Mazara station on the Palermo–Trapani line, then local connection to the hamlet. Nearest airport: Trapani-Birgi.
