Created to enhance the tourist season in the pearl of the Maremma, PopCast – Castiglione Sound Festival has become one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Castiglione della Pescaia, in the province of Grosseto, in the heart of the Tyrrhenian Tuscany. Promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with the Men/Go Music Fest, the festival offers a well-established formula: three free concerts ranging from pop to singer-songwriter music, and from reggae to contemporary sounds, curated to appeal to a broad and diverse audience.
Three evenings, two exceptional settings
The beating heart of the festival is Piazza Orto del Lilli, located in the historic center of the village, which hosts the first two events in an intimate and cozy atmosphere. The grand finale shifts to the Darsena beach with the special Calasole Live format: a sunset concert with the audience on the sand and the sea as a natural backdrop, which has become the festival's signature trademark.

The philosophy of PopCast is clear: quality music accessible to everyone. Every evening is completely free, designed for both locals and the many tourists who choose the Maremma coast for their holidays. Over the years, the lineup has featured young talents from major Italian talent shows, collectives with original sounds, and established artists from the national scene, with a focus on genre variety.

Overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and dominated by its medieval village, Castiglione della Pescaia is one of the most beloved seaside resorts in Tuscany, awarded the Blue Flag every year. Attending a PopCast concert means combining great music with a holiday spent among beaches, pine forests, and the inland Maremma area, in a setting that makes the festival much more than just a simple summer series.

The 2026 edition of PopCast – Castiglione Sound Festival confirms the winning formula of three free evenings, with a lineup ranging from new voices on the Italian scene to major names in singer-songwriter music. Promoted by the Municipality of Castiglione della Pescaia in collaboration with the Men/Go Music Fest, the festival once again brings Piazza Orto del Lilli and the Darsena beach to life between July and September, with free admission for residents and tourists.

- Quartiere Coffee — a historic Italian reggae band, with special guests Mellow Mood
Thursday, September 4, 2026 — 7:00 PM, Darsena Beach (Calasole Live)
- Daniele Silvestri — sunset concert with the Canzoni a sdraio tour, in an intimate format alternating piano and guitars, accompanied by Davide Savarese (drums and percussion) and Marco Santoro (wind instruments and various tools)

How to get there
Castiglione della Pescaia can be reached by car via the SS322 delle Collacchie road; the nearest motorway exit is Grosseto Sud on the A12/E80. By train, the reference station is Grosseto, which is connected to the town by local bus services.
Venues
The July and August concerts are held in Piazza Orto del Lilli, in the historic center; the final concert in September takes place on the Darsena beach (Calasole Live).
Tickets
All events offer free admission, subject to availability. We recommend arriving early, especially for the beach concert.
When to visit
The festival takes place during the summer months, between July and September, which is high season: we recommend booking your accommodation well in advance.
