Three days of live music, cabaret, and free performances in the heart of Pomezia
Pomezia in Festa is one of the most anticipated early-summer events in the town of Pomezia, located in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, in the Lazio region. The festival takes place in Piazza Benvenuto Cocuzza, the area in front of the Arcom Center, which turns into a large open-air stage for three days. Admission is completely free: anyone can join, stop to listen to a concert, stroll through the stalls, and stay until late at night.
The event is promoted by the Eventih24 Cultural Association, with artistic direction by Guido Pianeta and Tiziano Minichiello, and is held under the patronage of the municipal administration. It follows a well-established formula for Pomezia's summer events: no barriers, no tickets, and a program designed to satisfy diverse audiences throughout the evening.
The common thread is Italian music, performed live by top-tier tribute bands. The golden years of great songwriting return to the stage with tributes to Rino Gaetano, Lucio Battisti, and Claudio Baglioni, while the main evening is dedicated to rock, with bands covering the most energetic hits of recent decades. There are also DJ sets and group dancing, which remain a deeply rooted and popular tradition in the town festivals of the Lazio coast.
Visitors to Pomezia in Festa will find the typical atmosphere of a Lazio town festival: families with children, groups of friends, people stopping in front of the stage, and others strolling among the stalls. The evenings begin in the late afternoon, as the heat fades, and continue late into the night with the headline concert. It is a simple and direct way to experience public space, far removed from large paid festivals, which is precisely why it is so beloved by residents.
Founded in the 1930s as one of the new towns of the Agro Pontino, Pomezia is now a lively hub just a few kilometers from the sea at Torvaianica and little more than half an hour from Rome. The municipal territory also houses the archaeological area of Lavinium, linked to the legend of Aeneas, offering visitors the chance to combine a festive evening with a day spent between beaches, archaeological sites, and local Lazio cuisine. Those arriving from further away can easily combine the event with a visit to the coast or the Castelli Romani, which are just a few kilometers away.
Because it is free, because the musical quality of the tribute bands is high, and because in three evenings you can experience everything from singer-songwriter classics to rock, cabaret, and fashion without ever leaving the square. It is the ideal opportunity for those who want to discover the most authentic and convivial side of the Roman province.
The 2026 edition of Pomezia in Festa animated the center of Pomezia, in the Lazio region, from June 19 to 21 with a program built around great Italian music. The stage set up in Piazza Benvenuto Cocuzza, in front of the Arcom Center, hosted multiple events each evening in sequence, from late afternoon until late at night.
The formula alternated between light entertainment — DJ sets, group dancing, cabaret — and full concerts, with tribute bands dedicated to Rino Gaetano, Vasco Reds Rock, Claudio Baglioni, and Lucio Battisti. The latter tribute, entrusted to Roberto Pambianchi, also featured Gabriele Lorenzi, the historic keyboardist of Formula 3, on stage in a return to the original sounds of the Battisti repertoire.
Admission was free for all three evenings. In addition to the shows, the event area hosted stalls and exhibition spaces with clothing, handicrafts, and gift items, excluding food and beverage services.
