The record and music memorabilia fair in the Capital
Music Day Rome is considered the most important Italian event dedicated to music collecting. Born as a meeting point for vinyl lovers, it has grown over the years to become a true ritual for enthusiasts from across the peninsula, who travel to the Capital several times a year to hunt for rarities, out-of-print editions, and small sonic treasures. Each edition brings together over 60 exhibitors across an area of approximately 2,500 square meters, in an organized and welcoming environment where you can spend hours browsing covers and rediscovering forgotten records.
The fair's path traverses the entire history of recorded music, from the 1950s to contemporary productions. Among the stalls, you can find:
The quality of the selection and the variety of prices make the fair suitable for both the expert collector and those approaching the world of vinyl for the first time.
Alongside the records, Music Day Rome hosts the Figurine Forever section, a trade show dedicated to collectible stickers. A space that expands the horizon of collecting to include music, sports, cinema, and pop culture, attracting enthusiasts of all ages and turning the event into an experience for the whole family.
Music Day Rome is not an isolated event but a cycle of editions that follow one another throughout the year, with winter, spring, summer, and autumn appointments. This regular cadence has made the fair a stable reference point for the public of the Municipality of Rome and the entire Lazio region, as well as for collectors arriving from outside the region. The event, hosted within the territory of the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, contributes to keeping the culture of physical records alive in an era dominated by streaming.
Most editions take place at the Hotel Mercure Roma West, at Via Eroi di Cefalonia 301, in the Spinaceto district, on the southern outskirts of the Capital. The facility offers large indoor exhibition spaces and, a feature highly appreciated by visitors, convenient free parking. Admission to the fair is free, ensuring the widest possible participation.
More than just a simple marketplace, Music Day Rome is an opportunity for generations of enthusiasts to meet, a place to share passions, exchange advice, and rediscover the physical pleasure of music. For those visiting Rome, it also represents a different and authentic way to experience the city, far from traditional tourist circuits.
On the weekend of September 26 and 27, 2026, the Hotel Mercure Roma West returns to host Music Day Rome, now in its 50th edition. A significant anniversary for an event that, edition after edition, has managed to confirm itself as a national reference point for music collecting.
Across approximately 2,500 square meters, over 60 exhibitors will offer vinyl, CDs, DVDs, gadgets, and memorabilia that trace the history of music from the 1950s to today. The Figurine Forever section is also confirmed, with its collection offerings dedicated to music, sports, cinema, and pop culture.
Admission is free and the facility's parking is available to visitors. The 2026 season of Music Day will then continue with the autumn edition at the end of November.
