Two evenings of flavor, music, and fun in Piazza Morioni
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Poirino in Festa is the popular festival that transforms Piazza Morioni, in the center of Poirino, into a vibrant outdoor gathering space every June. Organized by the Pro Loco of Poirino, the event spans two evenings dedicated to fine dining, music, and socializing, capturing the true spirit of local summer celebrations.
The event takes place in Poirino, a key agricultural hub of the Pianalto in the Province of Turin, Piedmont. The festivities kick off in the evening with the opening of the kitchen and the start of the musical program, continuing late into the night with dancing and social moments.
The heart of the festival is the barbecue dinner, served at tables set up in the square. The traditional menu typically includes:
The bar is well-stocked with beer, wine, cocktails, digestifs, and soft drinks to accompany the meals and the dance floor.
Each evening is accompanied by live music and DJ sets, featuring orchestras, dance entertainment, and music selections that keep the square moving until late. A traditional highlight of the festival is the participation of the local Leva (the town's youth cohort), who help organize and animate the evenings, keeping a cherished Piedmontese tradition alive.
More than just a festival, Poirino in Festa is a moment of identity for the Municipality of Poirino: an opportunity to reconnect, support the Pro Loco's activities, and experience the conviviality typical of Piedmontese summer festivals, surrounded by local flavors and outdoor music.
The new edition of Poirino in Festa is expected on June 20 and 21, 2026, in Piazza Morioni, Poirino. As per tradition, the Pro Loco of Poirino is expected to host two evenings featuring a barbecue dinner, live music, and DJ sets. At the moment, the detailed program for the 2026 edition has not yet been published on official channels: dates, menus, and booking procedures are therefore to be confirmed.
Poirino is located in the Province of Turin, in the Pianalto area, about 30 km southeast of the regional capital. By car, it can be reached via the SP 122 and local provincial roads; the Poirino train station is served by the Turin-Alessandria line.
The evenings are held in Piazza Morioni, in the town center.
For the barbecue dinner, advance booking is generally required through the points indicated by the Pro Loco. It is recommended to check dates, menus, and booking procedures on the official Pro Loco of Poirino channels before attending.
