From the heart of autumn through to winter, Teglio's restaurants bring their long tasting event to life. It opens with the Pizzocchero d'Oro, dedicated to the signature dish prepared according to the original recipe of the Accademia del Pizzocchero, and continues with the Autumn Flavours weekends, featuring mushrooms, game and seasonal aromas. Organised by Teglio Sapori, it's an invitation to discover Valtellina cuisine at the table, in the village that gave birth to pizzoccheri, in the province of Sondrio.

Pizzocchero d'Oro e Sapori d'Autunno is the great autumn food and wine event in Teglio, in the province of Sondrio, organised by the association Teglio Sapori. Founded in the 1990s on the initiative of local restaurateurs, it fills autumn weekends with flavour and conviviality in the home of pizzoccheri.

From Pizzocchero d'Oro to Autumn Flavours

The event opens with the Pizzocchero d'Oro, an event where participating restaurants offer pizzoccheri according to the ancient original recipe of the Accademia del Pizzocchero of Teglio. The event then continues with the Autumn Flavours weekends, structured into several themed events dedicated to seasonal products: mushrooms, game and venison, and autumn flavours of Valtellina tradition.

During the event, participating restaurants in the alpine Lombardy region offer themed menus, with pizzoccheri as the star dish but also with their own personal touches: for this reason, direct booking is recommended.
