About Pizza Festival

Every summer, the Pizza Festival brings the Parco Urbano in Finale di Pollina to life along the Madonie coast in the province of Palermo. For several nights, this seaside village transforms into a vibrant gastronomic hub where pizza, crafted from local Sicilian grains and topped with regional ingredients, takes center stage. With food stalls, authentic Sicilian street food, live music, street performers, and DJ sets lasting until the early hours, the event perfectly blends flavor, tradition, and entertainment in one of the most charming seaside spots on the Palermo coast.

The Pizza Festival in Finale di Pollina

The Pizza Festival is one of the most anticipated food and wine events of the summer on the Madonie coast. It takes place in Finale, a seaside hamlet of the municipality of Pollina, in the province of Palermo, in the heart of northern Sicily. The event is hosted in the picturesque Parco Urbano di Finale, just a stone's throw from the sea, where pizza is celebrated in all its forms over several consecutive evenings.

Pizza made with Sicilian grains

The festival was created to showcase pizza prepared with Sicilian grains and topped with typical local products. Visitors can choose between a classic Margherita and a rich variety of gourmet pizzas offered by various pizzerias. Alongside the pizza, there is plenty of Sicilian street food, including specialties like fried fish, stigghiola, fresh cannoli, artisanal gelato, and fries, all accompanied by cold beer.

Music, shows, and entertainment

Every evening, the stage at the Parco Urbano hosts live music, artistic performances, comedy, and DJ sets that entertain the crowd until late at night. The atmosphere is that of a grand popular festival, featuring street performer acts, live radio broadcasts, and a dedicated area for children's entertainment, making the event suitable for the whole family.

A rapidly growing event

Founded in 2023, the festival has grown rapidly year after year, becoming a staple of the summer in Pollina. The Pizza Festival is part of a rich summer calendar of events that highlight the historical, artistic, and gastronomic heritage of the Madonie area, featuring concerts, theater under the stars, and local traditions.

Pollina and the Madonie

Pollina is a hilltop village overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, while its hamlet, Finale, represents its seaside side, boasting beaches and crystal-clear water. Its location, nestled between the Madonie Park and the coast, makes the Pizza Festival the perfect opportunity to discover Sicilian gastronomy in a stunning natural setting.

Pizza Festival — edition 2026

The 2026 edition of the Pizza Festival is expected in Finale di Pollina this July, following the event's tradition. Precise dates and the program for the 2026 edition have not yet been officially announced by the organizers; updates will be published on the event's social media channels and those of the Municipality of Pollina.

The Pizza Festival is expected to return in July 2026 at the Parco Urbano in Finale di Pollina. At the moment, the precise dates and the program for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced. Based on previous editions, one can expect several evenings dedicated to pizza with Sicilian grains, street food, live music, and DJ sets.
