Over the past few summers, this association has turned the Teramo coastline into a key hub for the Abruzzo indie scene, and Pinecore Indiepower is its crown jewel: a massive celebration of Italian indie and pop music that brings Parco della Pace to life every August in the heart of Pineto, in the province of Teramo.

What is Indie Power

The heart of the evening is the Indie Power format, known as "the biggest indie party in Italy." It is not just a DJ set, but a collective experience where the audience takes center stage. With hundreds of shows across the country, Indie Power has created a generational ritual built on singing at the top of your lungs to the anthems of the indie and pop scene. These are the songs that have defined recent years, resonating together under the Adriatic stars in an atmosphere that blends a concert with a community festival.

A grassroots movement

Pinecore is, first and foremost, a community project. Over the years, the team at APS Pinecore has brought the area's first indie festivals to the seaside—from evenings on the Scerne Promenade to parties on the public beach—building a loyal following and turning Pineto into a small summer capital of Italian indie music. The event is part of the extensive Pineto Summer calendar, the seasonal program promoted by the Municipality of Pineto, which features over a hundred events across Pineto, Scerne, Mutignano, and Borgo Santa Maria from June through late September.
