The Pian Festival: A community day in Piano di Vallarsa

The Pian Festival is the spring highlight for the small village of Piano, one of the many settlements that make up the municipality of Vallarsa, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). Vallarsa is a long river valley nestled between the Little Dolomites and the Pasubio massif, encompassing 42 hamlets scattered along the Leno stream. Each village preserves its own traditions and local festivals, and the one in Piano is among the most cherished of the season.
