The jazz and cultural festival of Peschici, on the Gargano promontory
PeschiJazz is one of Puglia's most beloved jazz festivals and a highly anticipated musical highlight of the Gargano summer. Every year, at the end of September, the festival brings two nights of high-caliber music to the heart of Peschici—a pearl of the Gargano promontory in the province of Foggia—attracting a large and passionate audience to this small village overlooking the Adriatic.
Born as a "jazz-cultural" review, PeschiJazz has grown over the years into a true cult event for genre lovers, hosting major national and international artists. The formula focuses on quality: elegant vocals, refined trio or solo piano projects, and forays into singer-songwriter and pop music, all firmly rooted in the jazz language. The event is organized by the Municipality of Peschici, with the patronage of the Puglia Region and the Gargano National Park.
The heart of the event is Piazza Sandro Pertini, which transforms into a natural amphitheater under the September stars. Concerts typically begin at 9:30 PM and admission is free, a feature that makes the festival particularly inclusive and draws both residents and tourists to the square. Beyond the music, the historic center of Peschici—with its white alleys, traditional trabucchi fishing platforms, and sea views—provides a stunning backdrop that completes the experience.
PeschiJazz is part of the Municipality's rich summer calendar, which accompanies residents and visitors from June to September with concerts, white nights, food festivals, and cultural events. Held at the end of the season, the festival has become the ideal opportunity to extend a vacation on the Gargano and close out the summer with great music in one of Puglia's most beautiful and characteristic villages.
The seventeenth edition of PeschiJazz enlivens Peschici on September 4 and 5, 2026, confirming the formula of two major evenings in Piazza Pertini, starting at 9:30 PM with free admission. The festival, organized by the Municipality of Peschici, closes the Gargano summer with a program that intertwines singer-songwriter music and pop-jazz sounds. The protagonists are two female voices of the Italian scene, hosted in the setting of the historic center overlooking the Adriatic.
Both evenings offer free admission. The program is promoted by the Municipality of Peschici as part of the "L'estate addosso" summer calendar.
Concerts are held in Piazza Sandro Pertini, in the center of Peschici (FG), Puglia.
Evenings generally begin at 9:30 PM.
Free admission.
Peschici is located on the Gargano promontory, in the province of Foggia. By car, it can be reached via the SS89 Garganica road; the reference train stations are Foggia and San Severo, which are connected to Peschici by bus lines. In summer, maritime connections are available to other Gargano locations and the Tremiti Islands.
