Parco in Festa, ten days of community in Masiera

Parco in Festa is the popular festival that, between the end of April and the first days of May, transforms the Parco del Senio in Masiera, a hamlet of the Municipality of Bagnacavallo, in the province of Ravenna, into a large space for music, words, and conviviality. For ten days, the park along the Senio river is filled with concerts, meetings, workshops, exhibitions, yoga sessions, and the famous cappelletti prepared by volunteers, a symbol of Romagnola gastronomic tradition.

From anti-fascist roots to a festival for everyone

The event has its roots in the experience of ANPI of Bagnacavallo and the association L'Olmo di Masiera: for years the event was called "In festa con l'Anpi", before taking on the current name of Parco in Festa. The common thread remains the memory of the Resistance and the values of democracy and the Constitution, expressed in an open and festive way, capable of engaging families, young people, and music lovers.

Live music, the heart of the festival

The program alternates well-known names from the national scene with local bands. Among the protagonists of the most recent edition, the opening was entrusted to Casadilego, winner of X-Factor 2020, followed in the various evenings by concerts ranging from the punk-pop of Lvcrime to the punk-rock of Sunset Radio, to the singer-songwriter music of Vittorio Bonetti, and the grand finale with Mercanti di liquore.

Romagnola cuisine and community dining

Next to the stage, the food stand is one of the souls of the festival: lunches and dinners punctuate the days, from membership gatherings to solidarity menus curated by local associations. The cappelletti remain the symbolic dish, accompanied by specialties that change nightly, including themed evenings dedicated to world cultures and cuisines.

A spring event in Emilia-Romagna

Included in Bagnacavallo's event calendar, Parco in Festa has become one of the most cherished spring events in the Bassa Romagna region, managing to combine civil commitment, entertainment, and attention to the river park environment. Admission to all shows and meetings is free, confirming the popular and participatory nature of the festival.
