About Argenta Fair

Every September, the historic center of Argenta, in the Ferrarese area, transforms for four days into its Fair: a popular event that combines concerts, shows, exhibitions, markets, food stalls, and the unmissable funfair. A decades-long tradition that fills squares and streets with music, flavors, and fun, animating the evenings until late at night and attracting visitors from all over the province of Ferrara and Emilia-Romagna.

The Argenta Fair

The Argenta Fair is the most anticipated event of the year for the Municipality of Argenta, in the low plains of the Province of Ferrara, in Emilia-Romagna. For decades, every September, the historic center dresses up for a party and for four days becomes a large, widespread space made up of concerts, shows, exhibitions, markets, food, and a funfair. It is one of those village festivals that have managed to grow over time without losing their popular soul.

Four days of widespread celebration

The heart of the Fair beats in Piazza Garibaldi, where the main concert stage is set up, but the event extends throughout the center: Piazza Marconi, Via Garibaldi, Via Bolognesi, and adjacent squares host stalls, exhibitions, and entertainment. The streets fill with stalls, markets, and outdoor restaurants, while the funfair, set up in the Via Galassi area, provides an essential backdrop for families and young people.

Music, shows, and tradition

The music program has always been one of the Fair's strong points: Italian music artists, bands, DJ sets, and tributes to singer-songwriters alternate on the Piazza Garibaldi stage, with evenings that continue until late at night. Alongside the music, there are themed exhibitions, displays by local associations, workshops for children, entertainment, and sports events, in a schedule designed for all ages.

Flavors of Emilia-Romagna

Food is the absolute protagonist: the stalls and restaurants offer traditional Emilian-Romagnol dishes and street food, accompanied by aperitifs and live music. It is an opportunity to taste local specialties in a convivial atmosphere, between one stall and another.

A festival for the whole community

Promoted by the Municipal Administration together with the Pro Loco of Argenta, the Fair involves volunteer associations, schools, and local realities, confirming itself not only as an entertainment event but also as an identity moment for the Argenta community. For those who want to discover an authentic corner of the Ferrarese area, far from the major tourist circuits, the Argenta Fair is the perfect opportunity to experience the true atmosphere of an Emilian village festival.

The 69th edition of the Argenta Fair returns in September 2026, with four days of concerts, shows, markets, food, and a funfair in the historic center. The full program will be announced in the weeks preceding the event; among the first confirmed names on the Piazza Garibaldi stage are Le Bambole di Pezza, expected on September 12th as part of their Summer Tour 2026.
