A popular festival in the green heart of the town

The Parco del Chiusone Festival is the local celebration in Roccastrada, in the heart of the Grosseto Maremma, that marks the end of spring and the beginning of summer. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Roccastrada in collaboration with the Municipality, takes place in Parco del Chiusone, the town's green space that comes alive for an evening with long tables, music, and locals.

The final stop of "Spring in Roccastrada"

The event represents the grand finale of the "Spring in Roccastrada: the territory and its flavors" series, a circuit promoted by the Municipal Administration together with the Pro Loco associations of the various hamlets. After events held in Piloni, Torniella, Sasso d'Ombrone, Roccatederighi, Ribolla, and Sticciano, the Parco del Chiusone Festival ideally closes the tour of the villages, bringing the series back to the main town. The common thread is the promotion of typical local products — olive oil, wine, chestnuts, and Maremma culinary specialties — alongside the traditions and life of the local communities.

The evening program

The festival day unfolds with a convivial rhythm that accompanies guests from the afternoon until late at night:

• 7:00 PM — Aperitif at the "Campino" with music by Pieroby
• 8:00 PM — Dinner in the park, reservation required
• 9:00 PM — Concert by the Tamara Band orchestra
• 11:00 PM — DJ set with DJ Cigax until midnight

The dinner, available by reservation, offers traditional dishes and local flavors, while the ballroom dancing with the orchestra and the DJ set make the evening a celebration for all ages.
