Three days of olive groves, flavors, and traditions at the Villa Cipressi olive grove
OrgOlio Angolano is the "Good & Beautiful of Our Town" fair of excellence that brings the Villa Cipressi olive grove to life every early summer. Located in the Cipressi district of Città Sant'Angelo, in the province of Pescara, it sits in the heart of the Adriatic Abruzzo hills. The name itself is a play on words between 'angolano' (the demonym for the town) and 'olio' (oil), the symbolic product of a territory where olive groves have shaped the landscape for centuries.
Promoted by the Bellamè APS Association with the support of the Municipality of Città Sant'Angelo, the event transforms the olive grove into a large, convivial open-air space. Along the path, visitors encounter food stalls featuring local products, workshops by "Masters of Life" artisans, guided tastings, and show cooking sessions dedicated to local cuisine and, of course, extra virgin olive oil.
The heart of the festival is the Snack in the Olive Grove, the moment when new oil is savored on toasted bread: the bruschetta becomes the protagonist of a simple and genuine ritual, enjoyed in the shade of the olive trees while wandering music plays. It is the initiative that gives the most authentic meaning to the entire event, celebrating the bond between the community and its land.
The evenings of OrgOlio Angolano are accompanied by concerts and live performances, featuring traditional Abruzzese folk groups, country music, and DJ sets under the stars. Sunday is dedicated to rural culture, with a spectacular parade of vintage and modern tractors and traditional folk games, in an atmosphere that brings together families, enthusiasts, and curious visitors.
Admission to the fair is free and access to the olive grove is open, making OrgOlio Angolano a perfect destination for an early summer trip to Città Sant'Angelo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, just a few kilometers from the Pescara coast and the Adriatic beaches.
The 2026 edition of OrgOlio Angolano, the second of the event, was held from June 5 to 7, 2026, at the Villa Cipressi olive grove in Città Sant'Angelo (Pescara), with the theme "The authentic soul of our town. Arts, Flavors, and Traditions." Each day featured the Snack in the Olive Grove with a special tricolor bruschetta dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, along with food stalls, guided tastings, show cooking, "Masters of Life" handicrafts, workshops, conferences with agricultural experts, and an educational farm for children. A rich entertainment program was also provided, with free admission.
