The largest youth football summer camp in Piedmont, held in Sant'Albano Stura
The Orange International Summer Camp has become a staple of the summer in Sant'Albano Stura, a town in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont. Organized by ASD Sant'Albano Calcio—the "orange club" from which the camp takes its name—it has grown year after year to become, according to the organizers, the largest youth football summer event in the region. In its eight-year history, it has surpassed 1,100 participants.
The camp is aimed at young footballers of all levels: from beginners taking their first steps with the ball to those already playing for a team who want to improve while having fun. The days combine technical morning sessions, featuring specific ball-handling exercises, with afternoon recreational activities designed to build teamwork, forge friendships, and experience football as a game.
What sets the Orange International Summer Camp apart from standard summer camps is the presence of prestigious international football guests. Over the years, professionals and coaches linked to clubs like Barcelona, Boca Juniors, Roma, Manchester City, and Borussia Dortmund have visited Sant'Albano, alongside world champion Pedro Pablo Pasculli. This formula allows local youth to train, even if just for a few days, using the methodologies and expertise of top-tier European and world football.
The camp was born from the initiative of founders Sergio Boscarino and Sergio Soldano and is supported by the club led by president Marco Curti, with the contribution of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fossano. It is a prime example of how a small local community can build, with passion and consistency, an event capable of attracting participants from across the province of Cuneo and beyond, while showcasing local sports facilities and the entire town of Sant'Albano Stura.
The 8th edition of the Orange International Summer Camp confirms the formula that has made the event a success in Sant'Albano Stura: a week of football for young people born between 2009 and 2020, with technical training in the morning and recreational activities in the afternoon. The big name for this edition is Pedro Torrado, head of grassroots development at SL Benfica, who will bring to Sant'Albano the experience of the youth academy of one of Europe's most important clubs.
The camp runs from July 6 to July 10, 2026, with daily sessions from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, structured around technical training in the morning and recreational activities in the afternoon.
The detailed daily schedule and the full list of instructors and guests will be announced by the organization in the weeks leading up to the event.
From July 6 to July 10, 2026, daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
