The summer music festival in Peschici, on the Gargano coast
Note di Mare is the concert series that defines the summer in Peschici, one of the most charming villages on the Gargano promontory, in the province of Foggia, Apulia. Born as an event dedicated to great live music, the festival transforms July evenings into a succession of free concerts that draw both locals and the thousands of tourists who choose the Gargano for their holidays to this Adriatic town.
The stages of Note di Mare come to life in two of Peschici's most iconic locations: Piazza Pertini, in the heart of the town's social life, and the harbor beach, where the sea provides a natural backdrop for the performances. The festival is designed as an experience open to everyone, with free admission concerts that combine established Italian music stars, pop artists, and moments of comedy and entertainment.
Note di Mare is a flagship event of "L'estate Addosso", the extensive summer program promoted by the municipal administration of Peschici, which features dozens of events ranging from music and culture to tradition and entertainment between June and September. The festival also collaborates with the EMBI Festival project and fits into a calendar that, in mid-July, also includes the celebrations in honor of the patron saint, Saint Elijah the Prophet.
Attending a Note di Mare concert is also the perfect opportunity to discover Peschici: the maze of white alleys in the historic center perched on the cliff, the traditional trabucchi fishing platforms, and the beaches and coves that make this stretch of coast one of the most beloved in Apulia. The festival's free, open-air format enhances the bond between music and the marine landscape, offering evenings where entertainment intertwines with the holiday atmosphere of the Gargano.
The event is held under the patronage of the Apulia Region and is coordinated by the Municipality of Peschici, confirming its status as a staple of the Gargano summer.
The 3rd edition of Note di Mare enlivens the summer in Peschici with two free-admission events. The first, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, features Francesco Renga, who brings his "Live Estate 2026" tour to Piazza Pertini at 9:30 PM: one of the most recognizable voices in Italian pop-rock for an evening of great emotions.
The second appointment is scheduled for July 27, 2026, with Mauro Repetto, the historic half of the duo 883, performing with his "Non Solo 883 Live Tour 2026", accompanied by the comedy of Uccio De Santis and his show "Stasera con Uccio".
The festival is organized by the Municipality of Peschici as part of the "L'estate Addosso" program and the EMBI Festival project, with the patronage of the Apulia Region. All performances are free of charge.
Peschici can be reached by car via the SS89 and SS693 roads along the Gargano coast. The nearest train station is in Foggia, which is connected to the Gargano by bus lines and seasonal services; during the summer, connections from other coastal towns are also available. The reference airports are Bari-Palese and Brindisi.
Note di Mare concerts are free of charge and take place in the evening, starting approximately at 9:30 PM, in Piazza Pertini and on the harbor beach. Arriving early is recommended to secure a spot.
Peschici is very busy during the festival days: booking accommodation and parking in advance is highly recommended.
