The pleasure boating fair at the San Nicola l'Arena Tourist Port
The Nautical Trade Fair, known in its recent edition as Agorà Sicilia, is the historic fair dedicated to pleasure boating held at the San Nicola l'Arena Tourist Port, a charming seaside village in the Municipality of Trabia, in the province of Palermo. For three days, the quay of the modern tourist harbor turns into an authentic maritime village, where enthusiasts, professionals, and curious visitors can stroll among vessels exhibited both in the water and on land.
The trade fair brings together a wide range of offerings for sea lovers: new and used boats, from small inflatables to larger vessels, outboard motors, jet skis, accessories, and all the latest seasonal innovations for pleasure boating. It is the ideal opportunity to get a first taste of summer, evaluate a purchase, or simply discover industry trends along the Tyrrhenian coast of Sicily.
For years, the San Nicola l'Arena nautical fair was a benchmark for enthusiasts in the Palermo region. After a period of absence, the event has returned thanks to the organization of Mare Sud, with the patronage of the Municipality of Trabia and the support of the Sicilian Region. The inauguration is accompanied by a technical-institutional discussion on the management and governance of Sicilian tourist ports, signaling the importance that the nautical sector holds for the island's economy.
