The Nalser Radwochen (Nalles Bike Weeks) are the cycling event that brings Nalles/Nals to life every spring. Known as the "village of roses," it is nestled among the orchards of the Adige Valley in the province of Bolzano, in the heart of the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol region. For several weeks, this small town in the Merano area becomes the starting point for a packed calendar of guided tours, designed for those who want to explore the distinctive Alpine-Mediterranean landscape surrounding the village by bike.

Guided tours for every skill level

The heart of the event lies in the excursions accompanied by guides from the Sunshine Racers, the historic local cycling club. The range of options is wide and suitable for all abilities: from relaxing rides along the Wine Road to more demanding mountain bike tours in the foothills. The routes cross the fertile plains of the Adige Valley, head towards the Monticolo forest and the heights of Sirmiano, or descend further south to Lake Caldaro and Lake Garda.

Nalles is a true paradise for cycling enthusiasts: renowned routes such as the Via Claudia Augusta, the Adige Cycle Path (Etschradroute), and the South Tyrolean Wine Road all pass through here. The Nalser Radwochen celebrate this heritage by offering weekly guided tours in an environment where Mediterranean wine culture meets the Alpine scenery of the Dolomites. The event is organized by the Nalles Tourist Association (Tourismusverein Nals) in collaboration with the Sunshine Racers.

Information and registration

Participation in the tours is free for guests of partner accommodations in Nalles; for other participants, the cost ranges from 25 to 40 euros depending on the excursion. Registration must be completed the day before at the Nalles Tourist Association.
