The Slow Food Presidium protagonist of Trevi's October
The Black Celery Market Exhibition and Sausage Festival celebrates one of the most iconic products of Trevi, a village in the province of Perugia: Black Celery, an exclusive cultivar grown only in the plain at the foot of the town and protected as a Slow Food Presidium. It is a celery with a particularly tall and fragrant stalk, harvested and blanched according to traditional techniques.
Now in its many editions, the event is one of Umbria's historic festivals and is part of Trevi's October, the month of events that the village dedicates to its excellences.
