Festivol - Trevi between oil, art, music and taste buds is the event that every autumn celebrates the first pressing of Umbria DOP extra virgin olive oil in the historic center of Trevi, considered one of the oil capitals in the province of Perugia. The event is part of the large regional circuit of Frantoi Aperti, which promotes the olive harvest season.
Oil, art, music, and taste
The program intertwines four souls, as the subtitle suggests. There is oil, the absolute protagonist with the Slow Food presidia market exhibition, the farmers' market, and tastings of bruschetta with the new oil. There is art, with workshops (such as woodcut) and guided tours of the Museum of Olive Civilization. There is music, with concerts and itinerant shows in the village streets. And there are the taste buds, with the flavors of Umbrian tradition.
Among Trevi's olive groves
Among the most evocative offerings are the treks through the olive groves surrounding Trevi, an iconic landscape of the olive oil region of Umbria. Festivol is organized with the support of the Municipality of Trevi and represents an opportunity to discover a territory where the olive tree has been culture, economy, and identity for centuries.
Festivol — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Festivol is scheduled for November in Trevi, coinciding with the Frantoi Aperti in Umbria circuit. As of May 31, 2026, the exact dates have not yet been officially confirmed: the event usually takes place on one of the Frantoi Aperti weekends, between late October and November, the period of the first pressing of Umbria DOP extra virgin olive oil. The program will continue the established format that blends oil, art, music, and taste.

The 2026 program had not yet been published as of May 31, 2026. Based on previous editions, Festivol typically offers: the market exhibition of Slow Food presidia and the farmers' market, bruschetta tastings with the new oil, treks among the olive groves, concerts and itinerant shows, guided tours of the Museum of Olive Civilization, and artistic workshops (such as woodcut). Dates and detailed program are announced on the website festivol.it and by the Municipality of Trevi.
