A free festival on the Adriatic seafront

The Montesilvano Wave Music Fest is a live music festival that, in the heart of summer, transforms the Montesilvano seafront into an open-air stage. Strongly supported by the municipal administration, the event has a defining characteristic: admission is always free, a choice aimed at making great music accessible to everyone, both residents and the tourists who flock to the Adriatic coast during the summer months.

The venues: Teatro del Mare and Arena dei Fiori

The festival takes place in two iconic city locations. The Teatro del Mare, a charming space overlooking the seafront, hosts more intimate and cozy evenings with the sea as a natural backdrop. The Arena dei Fiori, on Via D'Andrea, is the larger venue, designed for high-profile concerts and the festival's grand finale. Both spaces highlight Montesilvano's heritage as a seaside city dedicated to hospitality and summer events.

A diverse musical lineup

The artistic direction, entrusted to Pino Ruggieri, creates a program each year that blends different genres and sensibilities: Italian singer-songwriter music, pop, jazz, bossa nova, and light music alternate on stage in a journey designed for a wide and diverse audience. The Wave Music Fest evenings are part of the broader 'Estate a Montesilvano' (Summer in Montesilvano) calendar, packed with musical events running from July through the end of August.
