Musical nights in a Merano summer

Midsummer Night is the open-air concert series that lights up August evenings in Merano, a spa town in the province of Bolzano, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. The stage is set in Piazza Terme, the space overlooking the famous Merano Thermal Baths complex: here, under the starry sky, a series of free musical events takes place, featuring great Italian performers and tribute shows dedicated to the songs that have defined generations.

A program for all ages

The festival stands out for its varied programming, capable of engaging audiences of all ages through a true journey across genres, atmospheres, and unforgettable tracks. Alongside well-known names in Italian pop music, there is space for tribute bands that bring the energy and repertoire of beloved artists back to the stage. Every concert starts at 9:00 PM and admission is completely free, in a setting that invites both residents and tourists to enjoy summer evenings together.

Merano in summer

Midsummer Night is part of the rich summer program promoted by the Municipality of Merano together with the Tourist Board and Terme Merano to enliven the city center during July and August. The festival complements other events such as the «Martedìsera» (Tuesday evenings) in Piazza della Rena, featuring concerts, craft markets, children's entertainment, and evening dances. Merano, with its mild microclimate, walks along the Passirio river, and an atmosphere that blends Habsburg tradition with South Tyrolean culture, offers the ideal setting for an evening of live music.
