The Manfredonia Summer Food Festivals

The Summer Food Festivals are a series of gastronomic and entertainment events that transform the Nazario Sauro waterfront in Manfredonia into a large open-air stage overlooking the Gulf throughout the summer season. In the heart of the Gargano, the city welcomes residents and tourists every weekend with street food stalls, live music, dance, and plenty of fun for all ages. The event is organized by BC Events and runs with a calendar that extends well into the autumn.

The flavors of the sea take center stage

The common thread of these evenings is seafood cuisine, which is a true hallmark of local identity and tradition. Each weekend is dedicated to a different product or theme, highlighting the specialties of the Adriatic and local gastronomy:

• evenings dedicated to the gourmet burger, often kicking off the series;
• the grilled rock octopus, a true icon of Manfredonia's culinary scene;
• shrimp and oysters, the stars of the seafood-themed events;
• other seafood products and street food offerings that tell the story of the city's deep connection to fishing and the sea.

Music, dance, and entertainment

Alongside the food stalls, the Summer Food Festivals program features live music with emerging artists, dance performances, theatrical and cultural moments, themed markets, and play areas for children. The atmosphere is that of a typical Puglian summer evening, characterized by strolls along the waterfront, conviviality, and the refreshing breeze of the Gulf of Manfredonia.

A local tradition

Part of the rich panorama of summer events in the Municipality of Manfredonia, in the Province of Foggia, this festival is a great opportunity to discover the seafood cuisine of northern Puglia in an informal and free setting. Free admission and a multi-month schedule make it one of the most popular events of the Gargano summer.

The dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced: the updated calendar, including the themes for each evening, will be released by the organizers and local media partners in the weeks leading up to the start of the event.
