The craft beer festival in the heart of Alba
Launched in 2025 and already one of the most anticipated events of the Alba summer, Malto d'Alba transforms the evocative Cortile della Maddalena, in the heart of the historic center, into a vibrant space dedicated to craft beer. For three days, the capital of the Langhe celebrates local brewing culture with tastings, street food, music, and shows, creating a festive and convivial atmosphere that brings together families, young people, and enthusiasts alike.
The true heart of the event is the craft breweries, many of which are from the Piedmont region and deeply connected to the Langhe and Roero areas. At the stands, you can discover independent, high-quality productions—from farmhouse ales to experimental creations—presented directly by the brewers themselves. Alongside the beer, there are dedicated areas for street food and local products, perfect for pairing every glass with the authentic flavors of street cuisine.
Malto d'Alba is more than just beer: the program features DJ sets, live concerts, breakdance performances, magic shows, and street artists who take turns on stage and among the crowd throughout the festival. There is no shortage of activities for the little ones, including workshops and children's entertainment, as well as cultural events such as book presentations and literary meetings.
Organized by the MammaMia Cultural Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Alba, the event takes place in the Cortile della Maddalena, just a few steps from the streets and squares of the center. Its location in the historic core allows you to combine the festival with a stroll through the beauties of Alba, a symbol of Piedmontese food and wine, world-famous for its white truffle and the great wines of the Langhe. Admission is free, making the mid-June weekend the perfect opportunity to experience Alba in its summer version.
The second edition of Malto d'Alba returns to the Cortile della Maddalena from June 12 to 14, 2026, with a rich program for all ages. The event is organized by the MammaMia Cultural Association, directed by Manuel Brazzò, under the patronage of the Municipality of Alba.
