The autumn food and wine festival between Val di Sole and Val di Non
MagnAmour Autumn is a seasonal food and wine festival connecting Val di Sole and Val di Non, the two valleys of the Noce river in the province of Trento, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. The name is a playful blend of the Italian words for "eating" and "love," perfectly capturing the spirit of the event: a culinary journey through the flavors and aromas of the region. The festival spans several municipalities across both valleys, including Malé, the historic capital of Val di Sole.
Throughout the event, participating restaurants, farmhouses, and local eateries offer special menus crafted around the iconic autumn products of the Noce valleys. In Malé, past participants include Pizzeria Henry, while nearby Terzolas has seen venues like Osteria alla Corte dei Toldi and Agritur Anselmi take part. Each chef offers their own unique take on tradition, ranging from classic staples to creative new recipes.
Past editions have featured signature dishes like soft canederli with mountain cheese fondue and numerous apple-based recipes that celebrate the harvest season.
MagnAmour Autumn is part of a vibrant autumn calendar in the two valleys, complementing events like the Cheese FestiVal di Sole, the Pomaria apple festival in Val di Non, and the Formai dal Mont exhibition. More than just a single event, it is a widespread network of culinary experiences that invites you to discover the villages, mountain huts, and restaurants of the region during the autumn months.
The MagnAmour concept extends beyond autumn: the festival returns in other seasons with editions dedicated to seasonal products, such as the spring edition focusing on wild herbs, flowers, and craft beer. However, the autumn appointment remains the most closely tied to the harvest and mountain cheeses, which are at the heart of the gastronomic identity of Val di Sole and Val di Non.
MagnAmour Autumn 2026 takes place from October 9 to November 15, 2026, with official dates confirmed by the APT Val di Sole. The festival involves participating restaurants and venues in Val di Sole and Val di Non, including several in Malé, with special menus built around apples, mountain cheeses, and typical Trentino autumn products.
The final list of participating restaurants and menus dedicated to the 2026 edition will be published by the organizers in the weeks leading up to the event.
