A concert that is also a journey

On July 17, 2026, Ludovico Einaudi has chosen Dogliani, in the heart of the Langhe region in the province of Cuneo (Piedmont), for an event that goes far beyond a simple concert. The Solo Piano event takes place on the Borgata Nocello hill and brings together three pillars of well-being: music, nature, and movement. To reach the open-air stage, the audience will enjoy a 3-kilometer hike through the vineyards and rolling hills, turning the anticipation of the concert into an immersive landscape experience.

Einaudi's roots in Dogliani

For the Turin-born composer, one of the most listened-to Italian musicians in the world, playing in Dogliani is the fulfillment of a long-held dream: to perform in the land tied to his family, in front of the local community. A first attempt, scheduled for 2023, was cancelled due to rain. Einaudi envisioned this event as a concert "in a meadow where the gaze embraces the beauty of the Langhe, framed by the mountain range."

A charity event for the Civic Library

All proceeds from the evening are dedicated to the restoration of the L. Einaudi Civic Library in Dogliani. The library was donated to the town in 1963 by publisher Giulio Einaudi in memory of his father, Luigi Einaudi, the second President of the Italian Republic. The initiative thus weaves together culture, identity, and community spirit, restoring a symbolic landmark of local history to the people of Dogliani.
