Livorno Tribute Fest

A tribute festival at the Fortezza Vecchia

Launching in the summer of 2026, the Livorno Tribute Fest is a series of events bringing four major productions dedicated to music legends to the stage of the Fortezza Vecchia in Livorno. The project is curated by Stage 11, a production company with over twenty years of experience in live entertainment, and is part of the vibrant summer calendar animating this iconic city landmark overlooking the Medici port.

The Venue: Fortezza Vecchia

The Fortezza Vecchia is one of the most symbolic locations in Livorno and the entire Tuscan coast: a powerful 16th-century structure commissioned by the Medici family that encapsulates centuries of local history. In summer, its outdoor spaces transform into a natural stage where live music blends with ancient walls and the breeze of the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is in this unique atmosphere that the festival's four evenings take place.

Four productions, four legends

The program for the first edition is built around four tribute shows, each designed as an immersive experience capable of uniting different generations:

• De André, La Storia — a documentary-style show retracing the life and philosophy of the great Genoese singer-songwriter through music, storytelling, and original video footage.
• ABBA Dream — one of the most acclaimed tributes in Europe, perfectly capturing the energy and aesthetic of the Swedish band.
• Pink Floyd History — a visionary journey through fifty years of musical innovation by the British group, blending sound, light, and visuals.
• Disco Mania Live — a celebration of the evolution of disco music, from the seventies to the two-thousands.

A highlight of the Livorno summer

With the Livorno Tribute Fest, the Municipality of Livorno and its Fortezza Vecchia confirm their role as key players in the cultural summer of the Province of Livorno and Tuscany.
