The Pro Loco summer festival in Livo, Val di Non
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The Livo Summer Party is the summer festival that brings Livo to life every year. This small village of just over seven hundred inhabitants is located at an altitude of approximately 741 meters in the heart of the Val di Non, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). Organized by the Pro Loco Livo APS, the event transforms the village and its public spaces into a gathering point for residents, holidaymakers, and hikers visiting the Mezzalone plateau.
The typical program of the Livo Summer Party focuses on live music and dance evenings: concerts by local bands and tribute acts, DJ sets, and entertainment alternate throughout the festival days. Alongside the music, there is no shortage of traditional and social moments, such as briscola tournaments, karaoke, and activities that make the event a true community highlight.
One of the most appreciated aspects is the traditional cuisine offered by the food stands managed by volunteers: from tortel di patate, a signature specialty of the Val di Non, to grilled meats, pasta dishes, and themed evenings. Eating together in the square is an integral part of the experience and reflects the welcoming spirit of the village.
The Livo Summer Party stems from the commitment of the Pro Loco Livo, one of the youngest associations in Trentino, with a board composed largely of young people in their twenties and thirties. Founded in 1975, the Pro Loco has been the engine of the village's social life for decades, and in 2025, it celebrated its first fifty years of activity with a series of initiatives dedicated to the Livo community.
Surrounded by the Brenta Dolomites and overlooking the Mezzalone plateau, the municipality of Livo includes the hamlets of Preghena, Varollo, and Scanna and is a popular destination for trekking and mountain enthusiasts. The Livo Summer Party is the ideal opportunity to discover the hospitality of this authentic corner of Trentino, combining nature, good food, and music.
At the moment, the Pro Loco Livo APS has not yet communicated the official dates for the 2026 edition of the Livo Summer Party. Based on previous seasons, the festival is expected to return to enliven the village of Livo, in the Val di Non (Trentino-Alto Adige), with concerts, DJ sets, briscola tournaments, and food stands offering local specialties. To find out the final program, it is recommended to follow the social media channels and the Facebook page of the Pro Loco Livo.
Livo can be reached by car from the Val di Non; from the A22 motorway exit of San Michele all'Adige/Mezzocorona, continue towards Cles and then follow signs for the Mezzalone plateau. The reference railway station is Cles, on the Trento-Malé-Mezzana line.
The festival is organized by the Pro Loco Livo APS. For information: tel. +39 0463 533113, email [email protected], or visit the Pro Loco Livo Facebook page.
Events take place in the village center and public spaces: comfortable clothing is recommended, along with a light jacket for the evenings, which are typically cool at this altitude.
