Author Ligurian cuisine in the hamlet of Sant'Ermete
The Liguria Dishes Festival takes place in the hamlet of Sant'Ermete, in Vado Ligure (province of Savona), and is dedicated to the great regional gastronomic tradition. The unique feature that makes it special is the presence of an author's dish: the Cappon Magro by starred chef Giuse Ricchebuono.
The Cappon Magro is one of the most scenic and complex dishes of Ligurian cuisine, a sumptuous composition of fish, vegetables, and sailor's biscuit. Alongside this excellent specialty, the festival offers rabbit Ligurian style and other traditional dishes, in a menu that celebrates the authentic flavors of the region.
Organized by S.M.S. Diritto e Doveri, the festival combines the convivial spirit of a village feast with the quality of haute cuisine. The stalls open in the evening, transforming Sant'Ermete into a meeting point for gourmets and for those who want to discover the hinterland of Vado Ligure through its most famous dishes.
For 2026, the festival is scheduled for June 20 and 21 in the hamlet of Sant'Ermete. This year again, the star dish is the Cappon Magro by starred chef Giuse Ricchebuono.
The menu also includes rabbit Ligurian style and other regional traditional specialties. The stalls, managed by S.M.S. Diritto e Doveri, open from 7:00 PM.
