The Lessona Summer Festival

The Lessona Summer Festival is the premier summer event in the Municipality of Lessona, a small town in the Province of Biella nestled among the wine-producing hills of northern Piedmont. For nearly a month, from late June to mid-July, the town transforms into a large, sprawling stage: concerts, DJ sets, theatrical performances, cabaret, and food and wine evenings take place across the Via per Masserano event area, the town squares, and the historic center.

A festival for all generations

The festival was founded with the goal of offering "a journey through time with great Italian and international music," appealing to all generations and diverse tastes. The lineup alternates between big names from the national scene, tribute bands, 80s and 90s revival nights, electronic and contemporary music, without forgetting families, with shows and workshops for children.

The historic Ratataplan format

The heart of the live entertainment is the Ratataplan format, dedicated to theater and street arts, which accompanies the festival with clowns, comedy, juggling, and roaming performances. It is one of the longest-running traditions in the Biella area, capable of bringing artists and companies from all over Italy to the streets in a festive, participatory atmosphere.
