Teglio's Gastronomic Autumn
Golden Pizzocchero and Flavors of Autumn is the great autumn food and wine event in Teglio, in the province of Sondrio, organized by the association Teglio Sapori. Founded in the nineties on the proposal of local restaurateurs, it fills autumn weekends with flavor and conviviality in the homeland of pizzoccheri.
From Golden Pizzocchero to Flavors of Autumn
The event opens with the Golden Pizzocchero, an event where participating restaurants offer pizzoccheri according to the ancient original recipe of the Pizzocchero Academy of Teglio. The event then continues with the Flavors of Autumn weekends, divided into several themed events dedicated to seasonal products: mushrooms, game, and the autumn flavors of Valtellinese tradition.
Dine in the Village Restaurants
During the event, participating restaurants in the alpine Lombardy region offer themed menus, with pizzocchero as the main dish but also with their own personalizations: for this reason, direct reservation is recommended. An opportunity to savor Teglio's cuisine in its richest period, combining dining with the discovery of the village and its historic buildings.
