Festival of contemporary music, visual arts, and performance at the Teatro Petrella in Longiano
La Collina del Leopardo is a festival dedicated to contemporary music, visual arts, and performance held in Longiano, a small hilltop village in the Province of Forlì-Cesena, in Emilia-Romagna. The event takes place at the Teatro Errico Petrella, an 1800s gem overlooking Piazza San Girolamo, and makes it its beating heart: for two evenings, the theatre transforms into a creative laboratory where sound, image, and body engage in dialogue with the architecture of the space, giving life to immersive and participatory experiences.
The festival arises from the encounter between different worlds: singer-songwriter music and electronic experimentation, psychedelia and neo-soul, illustration, animation, and multimedia installations. The idea is to build a journey where live music intertwines with video art and performing arts, offering the audience not just a concert, but a complete experience. It's a cultural bet that brings programming engaging with the latest trends of the Italian independent scene to a village of a few thousand inhabitants.
La Collina del Leopardo is conceived by RetroPop Live, a Cesena-based entity active in promoting live music, and is part of the BIGLIA – palchi in pista network by ATER Fondazione. The Teatro Petrella, Selvatico Studio, and Cronopios, curator of the 2025-26 theatre season, collaborate on production. This network of entities allows the festival to be rooted in the Romagna territory and connected to a broader project for the enhancement of theatres and spaces in the region.
Longiano is one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, perched on the hills separating the Romagna plain from the hinterland. Its Teatro Errico Petrella, named after the 19th-century composer, is an intimate and evocative space, ideal for an event that makes intimacy and closeness between artists and the audience one of its distinctive features. Visiting the festival is also an opportunity to discover the village, its Malatestian fortress, and the authentic atmosphere of this corner of Emilia-Romagna.
La Collina del Leopardo debuts in Longiano with its first edition on Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Teatro Errico Petrella. For two evenings, starting at 9:00 PM, the theatre becomes a space for experimentation where music, visual arts, and performance dialogue with the hall's architecture. The festival is conceived by RetroPop Live and is part of the BIGLIA – palchi in pista network by ATER Fondazione, within the 2025-26 season curated by Cronopios.
The artists will alternate on stage and in the theatre's spaces, in a journey that combines concerts, video art, and performances.
The most anticipated moments of the first edition are the concert by Marta Del Grandi with her new album "Dream Life", the electronic set by Eva Bloo, and the multimedia installations by Selvatico Studio with Black Wax, alongside the experimental animation by Saul Saguatti / Basmati.
Longiano is located in the Province of Forlì-Cesena, a few kilometers from the Cesena Nord/Valle del Rubicone exit of the A14 motorway. By train, the nearest stations are Cesena and Rimini, from which you can continue by car or local transport.
Tickets are on presale on Vivaticket and DICE. You can purchase a ticket for a single evening or a pass for both nights.
The evenings start at 9:00 PM.
