La Bira te Fascia is a festival dedicated to mountain craft beer that transforms Campitello di Fassa, a village in the Val di Fassa in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), into a meeting point for enthusiasts and curious visitors every summer. The name, in the Ladin language, plays on the passion that beer inspires and reflects the identity of a valley where Ladin traditions coexist with the peaks of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites.

A festival grown in the mountains

Founded in 2013 as the first craft beer festival in Val di Fassa, the event has grown edition after edition to become one of the most anticipated food and wine events of the Fassa summer. The festival takes place at the Events Pavilion in the Ischia area, just a short walk from the Col Rodella cable car, in an alpine setting that combines the taste of good beer with the pleasure of being outdoors.

Six mountain breweries and Ladin cuisine

The heart of the festival is the six craft breweries selected from the Italian mountains, from Trentino-Alto Adige to Piedmont, Tuscany, and Sardinia, with ever-changing taps dedicated to producers who make quality and local territory their philosophy. Accompanying the beers is the food area with Ladin cuisine dishes prepared on the spot by local artisans, for a pairing that tells the story of authentic mountain flavors.

Tastings, workshops, and music

The program combines brewing culture with fun for all ages. Highlights include:

• Beer pairing masterclasses with guided tastings and food-beer pairings led by industry experts;
• Children's workshops: "MaltAttack!" for older kids (ages 6+) and artistic activities for the little ones (ages 3-6);
• Live music every night, with local bands and DJ sets keeping the tent lively until late;
• "Na bira per l'Istà", the popular vote competition to crown the favorite beer of the summer.

Many workshops and masterclasses have limited capacity and require advance booking.
