La Bira te Fascia – Autumn Edition is the late-September event in Campitello di Fassa that celebrates mountain craft beer. The name, in the Ladin language, means "the beer of Fassa": a statement of identity for an event created to showcase small breweries from the Dolomites and surrounding alpine valleys. Alongside the summer edition in July, the autumn edition brings three days of tastings, meetings, and conviviality to the municipality of Campitello di Fassa, in the province of Trento, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige.

Where it takes place

The festival headquarters is the Events Pavilion in the Ischia area, just a few minutes' walk from the center of Campitello di Fassa and a stone's throw from the Col Rodella cable car. The covered and heated space allows guests to enjoy the party even in the crisp autumn climate of the Dolomites, while nearby free parking makes it easy for those traveling to the valley for the occasion.

Breweries and flavors

The festival brings together several mountain craft breweries from Trentino, South Tyrol, and other Italian regions. Recent editions have featured names such as Rampeèr from Campitello di Fassa, Leder from the Ledro Valley, Monpiër de Gherdëina from the Val Gardena, and La Stecciaia from Tuscany, offering a range of labels from light, easy-drinking beers to more complex brews. The gastronomic selection is entrusted to Ladin cuisine, with dishes prepared on the spot by local artisans using zero-kilometer products.

Tastings, masterclasses, and music

The typical program includes daily beer-pairing masterclasses led by expert tasters, who pair beers with mountain flavors. Evenings are accompanied by live music in an informal and family-friendly atmosphere. There are also activities for children, with workshops designed for different age groups, making the festival a great occasion for the whole family.

An event by the Municipality of Campitello di Fassa

Organized by the Campitello di Fassa Events Committee with the support of Val di Fassa tourism boards, La Bira te Fascia is now a recognized fixture in the Trentino autumn calendar. More than just a beer festival, it is a way to share Ladin culture, the work of mountain breweries, and the hospitality of a Dolomite town that opens its doors to curious visitors and enthusiasts at the end of the summer season.
